Sad Times

I really want to do an Eldar army.  I love the models, the background, and the big departure from my Marines and Orks.  They just look like a lot of fun to build and play.

The catch?

My favorite Eldar units are:
Striking Scorpions
Warp Spiders
Swooping Hawks
Wraithlords

Makes me a sad panda.

I'm sure MKerr could help you out with a L33T footdar list. (ducks)

Not sure what the catch is, all those units rule :P

Wraithlords you should have no problems with, BoLs have put some tactica up recently.

As long as you don't get transports for them you should be fine.

I genuinely thought this was going to be serious post about some big event in you life, but no... just that you're a sad panda about not being able to paint some fancy pixies AND play competitively. Well worth the sad panda though!

AS long as your rats don't get left on the shelf, I don't mind what you do!

2 of those rank in my top 5 Eldar units also. lol

Spiders will almost certainly get a new model when new Codex comes out...so if you can wait until, er, 2012/3, then it'll be fine. lol

Wraithlords will probably be good next book too.

I'm putting those Vyper rules on hold, Wraithlord rules it is!

I don't know when the next Eldar book drops, but it had better have totally super awesome Scorps, Spiders and Wraithlords.

As long as there is a damn Warp Spider Phoenix Lord, I'll be happy =D. Warp Spider Exarch + Scoprions got me into Eldar and 40k in general so it is saddening to not be able to use them well atm :(.

Wait a year :P.
