Malaise

Haven't posted recently, haven't been on Vassal, haven't played, built or painted anything since God knows when.  Haven't been doing much of anything really.

I've got this cloud hanging over my head.  Nothing bad has happened, but it's just there hovering over me, dragging me down.

Gotta shake this, it's driving me meh.

It's funny, but you described my mood perfectly. I knew exactly what you meant when I saw the title of your post in my blog-links.

I'm meh as well...

Not meh here!

Wife and kids gone for almost 2 whole weeks. Getting stuff basecoated and assembled left and right here.

Then the dog went and ate a half box of Robed DA vets... Still haven't found all of Manfredi and Johnson yet.

RAWR! Can't even let me be burnt out in peace, huh? Had to copy me, both of you. *Sigh*.

I notice, none of us is really less active on YTTH despite not doing anything Hobby-related we feel we aren't forced into (after a fashion) - for me, frankly*, it's because it's still fun to comment on stuff I care about, even when I care a lot less, and because I don't usually feel my input is NEEDED, so I can be stoopid if (when) I prefer. Take it that you two feel similar/exactly the same/revulsion?

* - It's not the ONLY reason I ever still hit it up, but saying habit sounds rude, and the other reasons are less important/consistent, really.

YTTH for me is less of a place to get info and more of a place for us to all hang out :P

The NOVA Open is in a month and a half. Get yourself in gear, newb. You think 79 others are going to put on the breaks for your malaise?

I CAN'T HEAR YOU!

lol, I'm not a drill sarge personality at all ... just feel what you're feeling man.

It happens to all of us at one point or another. I had a bit of a meltdown at the beginning of this month when I couldn't motivate myself to do anything at all.
I find restarting some old abandoned project usually gets me back into gear...Of course I usually then abandon it again...
